I wait until the last minute to plan everything, “just to be sure”. Recently, doing that has been doing nothing but hurting me
can’t cancel order of international adapter
not getting power bank on time
my account being put on hold
I feel like I’ve learned to let things marinate for some time before pulling the plug but I can’t be marinating them till the very end.
the same can be said with Investing. I just “look into” things and not take any action from it
all of this to say: whenever you learn something new, always have any sort of action item/reminder/note written down. Otherwise the time you just spent “looking into” something will be gone to waste
another part of this is that will never know everything. I can never have the most cost-effective, time-saving, and time-maximizing trip no matter how long I research a certain topic
there will come a point in time where doing more research will just give diminishing returns
In my defense
I have never been exposed to this kind of situation before. A lot of things that I’m doing, I’m doing for the first time which is why I’m finding it hard to make fast decisions. I’m not going to deny that I’m very slow in making decisions in general, but when you pair that up with a new environment, a new situation. Of course, things will not be smooth
