The Scarcity of Human Energy

I’ve been reflecting on the concept of energy for a while now. Not the kind that powers electricity, but human energy. It’s remarkable how scarce it seems to be. It’s hard to find, whether in individuals, groups, or communities. People nowadays tend to be too nonchalant, finding it challenging to express or share their energy. Everyone seems to be in their own world, focused on their own path, often unaware or indifferent to others.

Energy is essential; it’s a fuel for life. You need it to get things done, to move beyond your own track and create connections with others. I’ve embraced the idea of nurturing and sharing this energy within myself and aim to help others do the same.

Encouraging Energy in Others

Sometimes, people just need permission to express their energy. They already have it within them; they just need a nudge or encouragement. This is something I strive to provide, especially in the Shabbat Society, my club. By giving them that permission, I help them release and channel their energy for growth and connection. It’s a small thing, but it can make a significant difference.
