There is a slight chance that I might be lying to myself. Whether it’s for a good reason or not is a discussion for another time.
-
is building software really the thing that truly fulfills my purpose? Is that what truly sets me apart? Is it my Ikigai
-
Ali Siddiqui continuously hints that idea to me, especially during our discussion in Ali dropping me off at the airport
-
I’ve also recently had several instances where I realized I felt so fulfilled and enjoyed the process of doing it (or at least briefly)
-
The thing that I’m talking about is coaching. For eg, during last week’s Jiu Jitsu class where I was working w smone that’s less experienced than me. I really enjoyed the process of helping that person out which made me more motivated to continue learning Jiu Jitsu. To be able to reach a point (in like 10 years) to be able to become a sensei and teach it. But here’s the thing, I already possess several unique and valuable traits that allow me to start coaching people and help them:
- improve their Social intelligence and Communication, or
- living a more Purposeful life
- living with pure joy and presence through Curiosity
- Asking Questions🗣️
- All the technical knowledge I now know from all the unique projects I’ve built
- I be myself without being affected by other’s judgements
- it’s not my social skills that will create impact. It’s my ability to be myself which makes me charismatic
