- I wanna be someone who is extremely capable of Saying why things are the way they are. I wanna be extremely opinionated and See the world not as the way it is but with 10 times more depth and resolution
- I wanna formulate my own opinions of things inspired by my strong ability to see things in a more humanistic, empathetic way
- This is what it means to have taste
- Having taste requires courage to believe in something that’s not universally accepted. It means letting your preferences stand even when no one else shares them. And when you’ve spent most of your life people-pleasing, you never develop that muscle. You’re so used to scanning the room for approval that you forget to check in with yourself. Taste comes from choosing, rejecting, experimenting, and being willing to be wrong. And I’m only now learning to give myself that permission.
- And that aligns with also being a good designer. I wanna be able to design whole experiences that makes so much sense to people when they use it, but no one ever thought of that kind of experience before
- It aligns with what I want to do with audora. I kind of really have to engage my whole creativity to be able to figure out an experience That has never been thought of before
