- One reason it’s so hard for me to fully focus on prayer sometimes is because of my awareness of Time

- This is especially true when I’m in the middle of a task and I go pray. It’s so hard to get my mind off of that task
- And even if I do not have an ongoing task, I still find things to think about whether it’s my future one year from now or 10 years. My brain somehow decides that i should be thinking of these In the middle of prayer
- I just had a new realization. The only way to let go of that and actually be able to deeply immerse yourself into a prayer is by losing track of time completely. Time is the only thing that makes things urgent. If you had no sense of time, you would simply live in the now. And when you’re living in the now, you experience everything with more colours and things are just more shiny. you’re in your head less
