Forget atomic habits, we need compounding habits
the habits that make every other habit easier to build
For me, it was having DND in the mornings
🔄 A focused morning sets the tone → that momentum carries through the day → by bedtime you actually feel satisfied with your progress → sleep on time
Even on the days I step out to touch grass (or snow), I feel more energized to socialize because I know I earned that break
Notice how the effects of this one small habit ripples out to other areas of my life
I call these compounding habits. Habits that not only offer benefits to the current moment but to your whole life
Another compounding habit that I’m bringing into my life is speaking articulately
How we speak is just a collection of habits we’ve built over the years
So if you’re monotone, or you get nervous and speak too fast, remember: these aren’t fixed traits. They’re habits. And habits can be rebuilt with enough time and effort
But how can we make that process easier?
I’ve been obsessed with this question while building getaudora.app, an AI communication coach
If you’re looking to become a 10x communicator in high-stake moments like interviews, presentations, and important conversations, I built this for you (and myself)
