Intro

For seven days straight, I documented and shared every failure I committed on my Instagram story.

And let me tell you
it was one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had.

In this video, I’m going to break down what I learned from this experiment, share some of my most embarrassing moments (so stick around for those), and hopefully inspire you to give this challenge a try. Because trust me—it might just change your life.

Benefits of doing this experiment & why you should try it

Let’s start with why I think everyone should try this experiment at least once.

one big thing I learned from this experiment is that people really value and respect honesty, transparency, authenticity. - If you’re someone who is looking to create a positive impact on the world, Being authentic is how you do it. In a world where everyone is trying to grab your attention In this Creator economy, people are craving For some deep connection. By being authentic in public, You indirectly inspire people to do the same

Being real, especially in public, isn’t just refreshing for yourself—it’s inspiring for others. It shows people that it’s okay to be human, to make mistakes, and to own them (more on that later). And that’s powerful.

This reminds me of a quote I absolutely love and is actually my Instagram handle too: “And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” That’s exactly what this experiment did for me—and what it can do for you too.

Facing Judgment and Finding Your People

Now, I get it—sharing your failures publicly sounds scary because, well, what if people judge you? And here’s the truth
some people will judge you, publicly or privately. But those are exactly the people you don’t want in your life anyway.

This experiment has this funny way of revealing who’s really in your corner—who respects and values you for being real—and who’s just there for the highlight reel. And on the flip side, it also helps you find people who share your struggles or ambitions. I heard this quote once that stuck with me: “There are two ways you can bond with someone—through shared vulnerabilities or shared ambitions.” And this experiment? It does both. It pushes you to open up, and in doing so, you attract the right people into your life.

Discipline and Ownership

Another huge takeaway is that this experiment is a great way to exercise your level of discipline. It’s easy to hide your failures, but it takes real courage and discipline to consistently show up and share them. And that kind of discipline seeps into every other area of your life.

It also forces you to take ownership of your mistakes. You can’t just blame circumstances or sweep failures under the rug. You have to face them, learn from them, and figure out how to improve.

And let me tell you—when the world is watching, you start taking things way more seriously. This applies to work, relationships, fitness—literally everything

Alright, no more yapping—let’s dive straight into it and check out all my failures from that week!
