Been working in the consumer social space for around 3 years. Ik YC is not the biggest fans of that space since there are way too many tarpit ideas in there but I really think I have a very unique way of seeing things and I’ve learned SO MUCH over the past year failing in the process of building something that people want and would pay for. Started with https://getexo.vercel.app/ 2 years ago, then https://github.com/psycho-baller/orbit, then https://heyember.me and now I am working with an incubator to help me pivot for the 4th time
What keeps me in this space is that I have a similar belief to Amber Atherton https://patron.fund/blog/future-relationship-tech/ There’s so much potential now with GenAI. This is why I continue to learn the latest tech like Zep: https://www.youtube.com/live/4YP-mUO-tL4?t=932
I’ve learned so much throughout that journey after spending 1000s of hours building, researching, and validating.

What would you like to talk about in these office hours?
My time is extremely valuable so I’d like to work on things that will give me the highest chance of actually making something people want I have way too many possible pathways I can take from here. Not sure what’s best for me, my future, and my business. I’d like some mentorship on what should I narrow down on.
I’d also like to talk to Farhan Thawar which ik he will be in UofT but I’m not sure if I can make it to that. Will have to cancel and book another flight to Calgary
