What’s the one thing you want to go all in on, or already are? Why does it matter to you?

In high-stakes situations like job interviews or presentations, it’s almost impossible to be self-aware or know how you are performing. As a result, people repeat the same communication mistakes for years and miss out on so many opportunities. There is no personalized, private, and affordable way for anyone to improve how they speak in real meetings. We track our fitness, our sleep, our internship applications, our finances but what about the skill that shapes the trajectory of our lives the most?

So we believe there’s a massive unmet need across professionals, founders, sales teams, students, and creators who struggle to turn their thoughts into real impact through their voice. We’re targeting early-stage founders for now because we believe that they need this kind of product more than anyone else because they are the face of the product, and if they’re not able to bring out the best versions of themselves every time they speak, then not only their reputation will go down, but also their product

I have crazy, wild ideas that I want to try to get traction from the world through content and games that align with our core mission. e.g. Wordle but for tongue twisters. Every day at a specific time, for example 12:00 p.m. MT, a new phrase opens up. There will be leaderboards for who is able to do it the fastest (both in speed of speech and in timing) and also who’s able to say it the clearest.

Before I go crazy with that, I want to validate the core product with some good traction with the MVP that I’m about to launch. But before that I created a survey that I have sent out to all my founder friends that dives deep into exactly what they struggle with and the current methods they use to solve that.

virtual calls are just the beginning. The ultimate goal is to help people master their communication in whatever context, wherever they are, without having to worry about privacy. It’ll be just like having a communication expert like Vinh Giang who can stay with you everywhere you go, and you can trust that anything you tell him will never be shared with the rest of the world

working on this directly aligns with my purpose in life as I briefly mention in the next question. but to add to it, one motivation is that I want everyone to feel heard. one thing that used to hurt me a lot back in high school were the moments where I felt like my friends didn’t understand me. The way I spoke was not very clear, and I wasn’t very confident in my delivery, so no one took me seriously when I spoke. Despite me overcoming that hurdle when I transformed myself in university (https://www.instagram.com/p/DQNHnCvien5/), when I see people rn in situations where they’re ignored or misunderstood, I empathize with them and try my best to do anything to make them feel seen and heard. Yes, I do have a soft heart for people… but I also have a tough heart for life. In other words, I care deeply about helping people, and I’m relentless about building the tools that make that possible
