Context
Chaotic day. I fucked up taking too long and taking my time packing to move out of my place and leave Toronto. This is not the way I wanna live - in constant rush.
Feelings
- ashamed I allowed myself to reach this point. Rushing to leave my place, half cleaned.
Thoughts
- I was not aware of how much I had to pack I found more things… Then more things… And so on. Shit just wouldn’t end.
- as a result, I had to let go of several items coz I didn’t have time/space to pack them
- After finding myself in the Uber ride I sat in disbelief, wondering how I actually managed to pack everything and leave so quickly when, at once point, shit didn’t seem to end.
- when I entered the Uber, I was sweating so much so I decided to go shirtless and the driver was cool Abt it. Asked him for tissues so I can dry myself.
- Despite all of that, when we were discussing weirdos who get a ride from him, I asked him if I was one and he said no. lol
- he’s a paki Muslim and an Indian immigrant hater.
- he mentioned that some drunk Indian man crashed into him and caused his car to roll which resulted in his shoulder to get dislocated.
What I Learned
- what I learned from this experience is to start looking to let go of items you don’t need a few weeks (3) in advance. That would result in less to deal with when moving out(a lot, especially all at once, even more if you’re traveling)
