- we consume so much content. And a lot of the times that content is so good that it can potentially transform your life
- what’s the difference between watching a YouTube video for free and attending a live workshop that you paid thousands of dollars for?
- one one you go to it with a belief that it’s not powerful enough to change you and transform your life, but the other one you spent $1,000 to convince yourself that workshop will change your life
- cuz I continue to consume “useful” content in my day-to-day. I’m coming to the realization that we all know and possess the knowledge needed to succeed in whatever you’re trying to do.
- so why do we continue to watch others? To try to convince ourselves that it’s possible when the truth is, it’s possible whenever you decide that it’s possible. And you can do that right this second
- it’s basically placebo effect
- only reading a book does nothing to your life
- but if you read it with the intention and belief that it would change your life
-
it’s not only books but it’s any piece of content you consume
-
All you have to do is decide and truly believe that the information that you just learned is going to change your life
-
so here’s an experiment I want you guys to do: go find some “self-improvement” video that talks about something you’re struggling with and unable to fix/improve on
- if you don’t have anything in mind, just go watch one of my 70 videos
-
but don’t just mindlessly consume it. Instead, go into it with a true belief that it will transform your life and watch it do exactly that
